Last day of the photo challenge:: Ahmad took the photographs. I’m going to continue exploring black and whites, along with some of the other settings I’ve discovered on the camera.
Woodland Gnome in Virginia keeps a blog where she pairs images and quotes in a way that I find inspiring. Take a look around her site when you visit, it holds treasures in unexpected ways and places. She invited me to join this black and white 5 day photo challenge and her last posting can be enjoyed here.
ONE DAY
One day I will
say
the gift I once had has been taken.
The place I have made for myself
belongs to another,
and the words I have sung
are being sung by the ones
I would want.
Then I will be ready
for that voice
and the still silence in which it arrives.
And if my faith is good
then we’ll meet again
on the road
and we’ll be thirsty,
and stop
and laugh
and drink together again
from the deep well of things as they are.

Today I am inviting Timothy of Photo of the Day, Etc. to join in. He takes superb photographs of places I’ve never been but want to go, like Sandia and Albuquerque, New Mexico; in frigid cold weather he doesn’t slow, if you click here you’ll see one of my favorite posts that he has up . . . I hope he will partake! I also invite You to join in, and if you don’t have a blog page already, sign up and make one; it’s pretty simple as are the rules to this photo adventure . . . .
The rules are:
- On 5 consecutive days, create a post using either a past or recent photo in black and white.
- Each day invite another blogging friend to join in the fun.
Lovely photos and a very moving poem
